Due to the current circumstances of Covid Pandemic around the world, the Cabinet of Antigua & Barbuda has agreed to amend the requirement in Section 4 (1) of the Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship by Investment (Amendment) Act 2016, to "spend a minimum of five(5) days in Antigua & Barbuda during five years after his registration".

The amendment will suspend the requirement to visit Antigua & Barbuda effective 1st February 2020 until 31st August 2021.

Furthermore, the government has confirmed that 16 of its Overseas Mission have been authorized to administer the Oath of Allegiance. The list is provided below:

• Embassies of Eastern Caribbean States to the Kingdom of Morocco
• Antigua and Barbuda Consulate General in Toronto
• Antigua and Barbuda Consulate General in Miami
• Antigua and Barbuda Honorary Consulate in Japan
• Antigua and Barbuda Honorary Consulate in Kuwait
• Antigua and Barbuda Honorary Consulate in Moscow
• Antigua and Barbuda Honorary Consulate in South Korea
• Antigua and Barbuda Honorary Consulate in Turkey
