About the Dominica Citizenship by Investment Program

Launched in 1993, the Dominica Citizenship by Investment Program is one of the oldest and most established economic citizenship programs in the world. It grants non-Dominican nationals and their eligible family members full citizenship and a passport in exchange for a qualifying contribution or real estate investment.

Applicants are never required to visit or reside in Dominica at any stage of the process. Successful applicants and their included family members receive:

  • Full Dominica citizenship and a passport valid for 10 years, renewable indefinitely
  • Visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 130+ countries, including the Schengen Area
  • The right to pass citizenship on to future generations
  • No residency, physical visit, or interview requirement before or after approval

  • Government fees: USD 75,000 single applicant; USD 100,000 applicant + 3 dependents; USD 25,000 additional dependent (below 18); USD 40,000 additional dependent (18+)
  • Resale rules: Hold property for 3 years; eligible for CBI resale after 5 years
